What is an Umaibo?
Umaibo or “delicious stick” in Japanese is a puffed corn snack available in many flavors
I bought these because, I like to try different snacks from around the world. Especially anything Asian!
I already know and love the Corn Pottage flavor! It’s delicious. It reminds me of my childhood, When I had exchange students from Japan stay over! They brought us all kinds of treats, It was wonderful! The Corn potage flavor is still my favorite after tasting all these. It’s got a buttery corn flavor, With the texture of a cheetoe. It’s a weird experience but incredibly addicting.
I bought this while it had prime, Which I was whiling to pay a little more, Because I could have the 2 day shipping, With some of these you have to wait for them to be shipped from Japan which can take a while.
It was 19.00 for 50 so you’ll pay 0.38 cents each,
This price is reasonable. On a Japanese candy store site, They sell them at 0.14 cents each, But I’m assuming they’ll charge you in shipping.
At that price 50 would cost you 7.00
